Just noticed that Theatre of Magic is missing the two targets at the bottom of the center staircase…odd.

Missing Targets
Wednesday, November 1st, 2006Parts
Wednesday, October 25th, 2006Ordered a bunch of stuff from Bay Area Amusements:
- WMS part #20-9247 magnet coil. Used on Shadow, Twilight Zone, and Theatre of Magic so it doesn’t hurt to have a spare. FIXME – is it also used on CV?
- Replacement troll brackets for Medieval Madness
- Cirqus Voltaire “WOW” decal replacement
- PinLED replacement display for Taxi
- 2 more PinLED replacement power driver boards (Replaces WMS part #A-12697). One of these is gonna be for T2 eventually.
- This Old Pinball DVD’s number 3 and 4. Should be interesting.
Left Flipper Won’t Hold
Tuesday, October 17th, 2006Playing TOM today I noticed that the left flipper won’t hold. It flips, then does a little stutter and drops back to the resting position.
Theatre of Magic Doesn’t Need a Lock
Friday, October 13th, 2006Package from Bay Area Amusements showed up. Installed the lock in the coin door.
Theatre of Magic Needs a Lock
Tuesday, October 10th, 2006Theatre of Magic needs a lock on the coin door. Ordered one from Bay Area Amusements since I was ordering some parts for Shadow.
More Machines Up And Running
Monday, October 2nd, 2006Yay! My bro came over last Friday and helped me set up a bunch more machines in my basement. Now up on their feet in various states of running:
- Banzai Run
- Theatre of Magic
- Taxi
- Tales of the Arabian Nights
- Medieval Madness
- Star Trek: TNG
- Diner
- Indiana Jones
- Shadow
I wheeled Shadow over to the newly-designated shop area for some upcoming shopping. Also note that Banzai Run is totally non-functional.
Here’s a highly distorted 180 degree panorama put together with Canon’s photo-stitch software:
New House
Monday, December 27th, 2004I moved to a new house. The new house happens to have a basement with room for lots of pinball machines. Here you can see the mover-guys taking Diner off the truck, making it appear as if it’s no big deal.
Now I just have to set them up.
Updated T.O.M. Status
Tuesday, February 12th, 2002- Left “Hocus Pocus” isn’t working again.
- Shooting the center staircase ramp doesn’t always register
Hocus Pocus
Sunday, February 10th, 2002Trimmed potentiometers on left & right “Hocus Pocus” eddy sensors. Both work great now.
Some T.O.M. Fixes
Saturday, February 9th, 2002Replaced some lamps. “Hat Magic” is still out, so the socket probably needs to be cleaned. I managed to unlight the lefthand “Lock” and “Safe” lights, so I need to go back under and check those.
On closer inspection, the left flipper coil not only has a disconnected wire, but is also missing a diode. A little hunting and I found the diode in the bottom of the cabinet. Went ahead and replaced the coil and sleeve with a Peach State FL-11629 equiv. that I had lying around.
